CHIC is holding the 10th face to face annual conference on 17th November at Sixways Stadium in Worcester. This event is set to receive close to 500 visitors throughout the day and has changed significantly since the first one in 2010, a much smaller event attended by around 100 delegates at the National Motorcycle Museum.
The events origins were to launch CHIC, a consortium set up by seven founding member housing associations. The intent was to work collaboratively to create efficiencies for their organisations and customers, through smart procurement and asset management for the 45,000 properties they managed. The founders started CHIC on the basis that it was a member organisation that would grow, with a range of new members joining. With now over 150 members managing over 1.6m homes, CHIC has also significantly grown the number of organisations in it’s supply chain.
Our exhibition is welcomed by 39 exhibitors, including contractors, merchants, consultants, materials supply partners and other key stakeholders. Without their contributions, CHIC would not have been able to run successful annual conferences over the past decade.
