Thank you to all of those who proposed a candidate for the award. CHIC’s Chair and Vice Chair are now reviewing the shortlist to decide on the 2021 winner. The awards will be presented by Mark Easton, BBC Home Editor at CHIC’s Annual Conference and Exhibition on Wednesday 17th November 2021 at Sixways Stadium, Worcester.

The shortlisted candidates are:

  • Steve Tovey, Bell Group

Alongside the trophy, the winner of the award will also receive an Amazon gift card worth £200.

Good luck to all of the shortlisted nominees.

Sponsored by Bristan Group

Bristan Group is proud to be sponsoring Trainee of the Year. It’s a subject close to our heart because behind our own success story, is a people-focused business where passion and knowledge are cherished, and everybody takes pride in the way we simplify life for all of our clients.

The knowledge of our people also means that as a group we deliver for clients large and small in a variety of sectors encompassing luxury homes to hospitals, schools and affordable housing.

As a partner to Housing Associations, we understand that budgets have become increasingly stretched, and the importance of finding new ways to meet safety and efficiency standards for residents without compromising on quality has never been more important.

As a group, we support this with some brilliantly simple solutions:

Brilliant basin mixers taps - Eco-friendly, practical and stylish, our basin mixer taps are ideal for reducing water consumption in the bathroom, with different flow limiters to suit a variety of products, that can reduce water flow to as little as 3.5 litres per minute.

Simple shower solutions - With 25% of water wastage coming from showers, we’ve developed a range of flow limiters that can be easily fitted onto our popular bar shower range. These can limit the flow rate to as little as 4 litres per minute.

Quality products - We know how important tenant satisfaction is and can help avoid the cost of leaky taps and showers. Our showers are tested to the equivalent of 130 years usage and our taps are turned on and off 80,000 times to ensure endurance in our UKAS accredited testing facility. With rock-solid guarantees, ranging from 5 to 10 years – they can take everything life can throw at them.
