CHIC Team Changes

Welsh Optimised Retrofit and Building Safety

CHIC has developed a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) to procure Bidders of Domestic Energy Efficiency Retrofit Installation Services. Working in partnership, CHIC and its Welsh Members will deliver Energy efficiency solutions to homes within the Welsh geographical regions. The Optimised Retrofit project will see homes across Wales made more energy-efficient.

In line with this new service, CHIC has expanded our procurement team – a new Procurement Coordinator and Procurement Manager to deliver the works, reporting into Jackie Leonard (Head of Projects - Wales).

Katie Carey will be joining the team as Procurement Manager in September, planning and delivering all procurement activities as required by our members in Wales, including the day-to-day DPS mini-competitions. Supporting Katie, we have appointed Michael Klotz as Procurement Coordinator, managing, administering and delivering the compliant procurement of new framework agreements and long term contracts.

All these team members are based in Wales.

 

 

Member Services Team

Our Member Services Team is overseen by Director of Member Services, Stephen Sharman. The team has also grown in the past month, to support CHIC’s growth in membership and service delivery. Operations have also been split into more focussed geographical areas to meet specific regional requirements.

We have recruited a new Head of Member Services representatives.

Vicki Clements joins in September to manage member services in the East Midlands and Eastern England.

These key roles involve constant liaison with members to ensure that existing contracts and support are delivering as expected, as well as to create and deliver growth in CHIC’s member services support.

Marketing & Administration Coordinator

Reporting to CHIC’s Marketing Manager, this key role has two main functions: supporting with the delivery of CHIC’s marketing strategy including programming, coordination and monitoring of events, promotion of CHIC’s services and keeping abreast of competitor activity. It will also provide key administrative support to the CHIC team.
