CHIP was set up to deliver the social value objectives set by CHIC. Our shared social value objectives focus on five key areas: Contractual Commitments, Employment Sponsorship, our Community Chest Fund, Annual Awards and CHIC’s own social value endeavours.

We believe that measuring social value contributions through time offered, monetary value and through identifying short and longer term impact provides definitive evidence for the impact CHIP and it’s partners are delivering to the communities CHIC’s members work with, having a positive impact on people’s lives.Check out the CHIP website (https://www.chipcharity.org.uk) to look at the work we are doing to bring about positive, sustainable change to the lives of the people and communities we work with.
Annual Awards
The CHIP Dinner & Awards event is to be held on 24th May, 6.45-10.15pm at the Telford International Centre, on the evening of the CHIC Conference. The awards have been set up to celebrate social value across the sectors in which CHIC works, where contractors, suppliers and members can nominate for any of the four awards, as shown below.  The awards are designed to recognise individual and group success, in relation to the positive impact we have on the lives of individuals and communities in which we work. This can be delivered and achieved through CHIC’s contracts, as well as through the work CHIP does through its Employment Sponsorship and Community Chest Fund.
