CHIC VIRTUAL WALK!
The CHIC Team is excited to announce that on 1st August we started a virtual sponsored walk to support our charity, CHIP. We have challenged the team to achieve a combined 10 million steps within three months. We will virtually map our route, visiting areas where our members and supply chain partners operate. The funds raised will be used to support local communities though CHIP’s work with Local Community Groups and community initiatives.
We have already walked over 1m steps in our first week and hope to keep up the pace!
During the walk, we will be accompanied by our lovable mascot, Chick, who will motivate us to maximize our steps and keep us encouraged throughout the journey.
Every step counts in shaping a better and brighter future. Sponsorship of any amount is welcomed.

Setting the pace:CHIC’s Chief Executive John Fisher contributed over 36,000 steps on 5th August, when he ran the South West Coast 25km Ultra Challenge with his daughters. This started and finished in Dunster and tackled the start of the SW Coastal Path, returning across Exmoor – in a storm!

Chick went along for the ride.
