Social Value Zone

Come along and meet CHIC's charity CHIP and associated partners. Since its launch, towards the end of 2022, CHIP has partnered with a number of new Local Employment Groups in the West Midlands, London and Wales.

Some of these will be showcasing the great outcomes from effective collaboration and demonstrating how CHIP and its partners can help your organisation achieve added social value.

CHIP seeks to bring positive, sustainable changes to people's lives by supporting:

   -   Training and apprenticeships through CHIC's contractors and suppliers
   -   Employment sponsorship, delivering training and jobs for people distant from the workplace
   -   Projects in communities that are local to CHIC's members, via a Community Chest Fund
   -   Recognition of individual achievements through learning and personal development
   -   Direct social value delivery through a range of community initiatives

See how you can get involved with CHIPs social value support by visiting the CHIP Website.

"The CHIC Conference is an engaging, informative and enjoyable event. It’s an efficient way to stay up-to-date with key sector topics, share best practice and network with peers from across the sector. In particular, I have found the talks to be highly relevant to key topics and challenges that our industry faces.

"Variety of different talks and exhibitors, great opportunity to meet customers face to face"

"The sessions were truly excellent and the diversity of attendees was good"

CHIP Awards Dinner

Following the Conference, our aligned charity CHIP will be hosting its annual Charity Dinner & Awards event, taking place from 6.30pm until midnight.

We are excited to recognise and celebrate the work our members and supply chain partners are doing within their communities. These awards are presented on the basis of outstanding progress with personal development, practical and theoretical ability, a positive approach to employment and a focus on great customer service.

We have had some really strong submissions for the five awards:
-  Apprentice of the Year
-  High Achiever of the Year - Above and Beyond
-  Social Value Employer of the Year
-  Mentor of the Year (The Ian Winslet Award - Sponsored by ARK Consultancy)
-  Social Value Impact Award

Good luck to all the candidates
